How long does Facebook send picture comment notifications for?

i.e. I commented on a picture today in July that had comments on it from last October. Will those people all receive notifications that I commented on the picture even though they commented so long ago?

No it usually stops notifying people after 24 hours

Yes of course, because once a new comment has been made all that had commented on that picture will be notified.

Yes, they will get the notification.There is no fixed time for getting any notification. You comment will make notification for all who are connected with that picture.But if anyone of them has changed his profile setting as not to get the notification further ,then he will not get your notification.
