How do i hide my relationship status on facebook?

My relationship status on facebook says in a relationship with so and so and i want to hide it, but i dont want my boyfriend to realize im hiding it, is there anyway i can do it without sending the request to change it to him? please help me out

Unfortunatley i don't think there is a way
When you go to the edit profile, 'featured people' the only options are single, divorced, engaged, in a relationship, etc. I think you can select to choose nothing...which is a just a white bar. this may be okay. But i think that your boyfriend will still know you have removed it.

Here is a hint though:
Many people don't take 'engaged' or 'married to' very seriously on facebook. some people just put 'engaged' and 'married' for fun, and many people wouldn't care as much as when it is 'in a relationship'. so maybe change it to one of those??
I don't know why you are ashamed though to say who your boyfriend is, but i understand, if its so your family or siblings do not see....if thats what you want.

you can. you just click on the white bar. it will change his one aswell though. it will just say he is in a relationship and not your name after it so shouldnt be too bad. and if anything does show up you could just delete the post. it shouldnt though. just do the blank bar
