I'm afraid to post my photos in the internet?
all my friends use twitter and post funny photos and use their real names. I don't know why but I'm so afraid to post my photos there. If someone steal it? And I feel not very good when I use my real name in websites. Why???

I would be more concerned about the child molesters staring at the computer screen and masturbating to the photos.

You have what I call a Brain, and congratulations for that. With the Internet being too open these days is easy for anybody with just basic computer skills to steal your information. I could be your photographs, address, age and telephone number, email addresses, and even tastes in clothing, music, food and fashion. I never post any of my photographs. The only two pictures I have are one in my formal graduation ceremony for LinkedIn and one in informal on Facebook. That's it. I don't use Twitter. Too much ad crap and lack of privacy, and... I just can't handle it, really I don't have time for any of that.

Its normal to feel this way. The internet is a very scary place. If you really want to join your friends, I would set up a facebook page and change all the settings to private..that way only people that you know can see your photos and comments. Also, just use your first name or nickname, that is what i did.

Remember only post pics you are comfortable with. Don't post anything private or incriminating. I avoid pics with alcohol, or bathing suit pics, as I wouldn't want the world or a potential boss to see it. ( just in case, u never know)

Try not to let fear take you over though. Chances are noone really cares enough to steal your stuff...and having a photo on the internet is no different than walking down a busy street and having strangers look at you.
Lastly, never post private info like addresses, phone numbers, etc. just have fun and talk about hobbies, sports, etc. you will be ok.

Then don't post any or use your real name on any unsecure sites you're leary of. Especially don't post any compromising photos or messages that may be embarrasing or get you in trouble.
