Pointless status updates or tweets like, "Sleeping. Eating dinner." Cool story, bro. Also when people decide to get real personal and make it their online diaries.

I don't like trying to look up people on either one of them. If you type in a name you have to go through so many people to find who you are looking for.

What I don't like about FB and Twitted is that everyone is on there, so you feel stupid if you don't have a FB, and everyone talks down to you like "did you hear what happened on facebook.....oh wait. You don't have one". It's annoying!

Dislike -
When people put their dirty laundry all over their walls. They'll have an entire domestic dispute over wall posts when it would be so much easier to 1. send private messages 2. call the person on the phone 3. actually TALK to them in person. I also hate "collectors." People who have 500 friends, but only actually know/talk to 40 of them. I'll get random friend requests from people I've never met just because I was suggested to them. Oh, and I agree about the dumb/random posts about nothing. Why do you need a Twitter when you have no life to Tweet about? You don't need to update me every time you feel like eating tacos.

Keep in touch with friends/family that are far away. Share pics online easily. Send invites easily. Find out info about people you've just met/are about to meet....

Facebook:
Like - easy to connect with relatives back East, saves on postage stamps for letters
Dislike - the number of errors that occur in applications, especially games

Twitter:
Like - how I know what my friends are doing every minute of every day
Dislike - how I know what my friends are doing every second of every day
