I think tweeter is for egomaniacs who have low self esteem. I mean do I really care if Kirstie alley goes to the store or is in a traffic jam.

It is Twitter not tweeter.

And it is merely a means of conversation, of sharing things as mundane as shopping or things as interesting as, for example, the tsunami which some of the Japanese did (and which helped in rescuing some of them).

Twitter is as valid a means of conversation as actual conversation.
