Is it cool for a teenager to have relatives as friends in facebook?
I'm going on 15, and just got a facebook. I already asked my two cousins, but what about like, my aunt? What if she's a fun aunt? Does anyone have family as their friends on facebook? Or is that lame?

What do you think?
Plenty of people are friends with their family. I would have been if Facebook was around when I was your age. Just make up your mind and go with it. I don't care what your friends will think, and neither should you. |

Haha people won't go up to you and demand an explanation as to why you have family on facebook. Someone might look at their page for curiosity, but most of the attention will be channeled towards you.
Yeah... I have my mum on facebook :/ |

The thing I like to remind people when they start adding adults: be wary of what you post. If you post the weird stuff to friends, they don't really care. But an adult friend sees things differently and it could cast you in a negative light.
Facebook is social networking. I wish I had family on there. |
