Since I answer peoples' questions in the Yahoo Products section, which are mainly factual questions, I am not giving away anything about myself.

You have taken some good steps to protecting your privacy. You have your Q&A private, you are using a display name that is not your name, you don't give away your location. There is one more step you might want to take and that is to stop sharing Yahoo Updates. All your questions are listed on your Yahoo Pulse profile so if you have friends and family way who are your contacts either through Yahoo Pulse or Yahoo Messenger, they can see your profile and your questions.

Here is how to stop sharing those.
Sign into your Yahoo! Pulse profile here: http://pulse.yahoo.com/ . Click Setting on the upper right of your pulse profile page, and then Manage privacy settings. You can then remove the check from Share My Updates, or you can choose which updates you want to share and with whom. Click Save when you are finished.

If you are linked to Twitter or Facebook through Yahoo, you will want to check the sharing preferences of those too, and that is on the same page in your Pulse.

I really wish Yahoo Answers gave one a choice if they wanted their Yahoo Pulse link on their Yahoo Answers Profile.
