My question concerns the facebook notifications?

Hello,
I have been recently receiving facebook notifications in my email account, however the sender is not labeled as facebook. The sender is obviousely another facebook user "my friend's friend" and we are not connected to each other. I searched the facebook help and could not find any answer how to fix this problem. I hope this question was clear enough for those experts in facebook things. please help me.

You didn't tell what kinds of email notification you've received. Its about tag or group or event or anything else? Check your privacy there should be public or friends of friends. And change to only friends. Good luck!

If you are sure the sender is not fb, Do not open these emails, delete them and report them as spam so you dont receive future posts.
Change your password and update your security question (regularly),just in case your fb profile is compromised.
Hackers and phishers use all sorts of devious ways to collect your fb info.
