I saw on my friends facebook it said
status : In a relationship <a link to her boyfriends facebook> How do you do that? Thanks  10 points! Ads |

Click on the "INFO" tab next to the "WALL" tab.
Under "Basic Information", change your relationship status to "In a Relationship" and there'll be an option for you to type in the name of the person you're in a relationship with. When you save your changes, the person will receive a notification and be asked to confirm. Once both of you confirm that you're in a relationship, the "In a Relationship with _____" status will appear on both your profiles

When you change it to in a relationship, it will let you type in the name of someone from your friend list. They will then be sent a notification to confirm the relationship. When it has been confirmed it will show up on both profiles as in a relationship with each other.
