is it normal for a girlfriend to go through your facebook messages and texts?
me and my girlfriend have been going out for about 11 months, and live together. she has a habit of going through my phone and checking my texts and who i have been texting. as well she recently told me she went through my Facebook messages of a friend whos a girl, ( has done this multiple times before tho). i was just wondering if its normal for girlfriends to do this. as well any advice wanted.

Put her in her place. You're the man.

I do that sometimes, but i've told the guy i have trust issues (and i do have reasons for that) so maybe ask her why she feels the need to and see if u can understand.

nope

this screams out that she has trust issues

there is no need for her to go through your text messages & Facebook messages.

then again you show her so it proves you have nothing to hide..

it's a 50 50.

Not usually. If you two live together and have been going out for that long yeah it's normal to have each others facebook password and such, but if she's going through your messages and texts, she definitely is checking up on you and not trusting you. So insecurities, so talk to her and tell her that she has nothing to worry about ( that is if she doesn't), good luck

yep its normal, don't think there's anything you can do really.

if you tell her you feel as if she's invading your privacy, it'll seem as if you have something to hide. if you let her continue, well.. you wont have any privacy.

the fault kinda lies with her insecurity, unless you had a part in making her feel so suspicious.

keep all potentially flammable conversations to phone calls, good luck
