How do I tell my ex-boyfriend that I have a boyfriend?

My boyfriend and I are in a serious relationship and plan to get married soon. However, he wants to announce our status to everyone including through facebook. My ex and I are friends not on a close level but we still have respect for each other. Even though I haven't led my him on, my ex still believes there is a future for us. But should I be the one to tell him I have a boyfriend or should my facebook status do the talking?

Its your EX. Personally i would post it. If u dont ur "husband to be" will know something is going on..... HE IS UR EX....

"Facebook official" haha I love that unless u and ur ex are rlly good friends I would just let him find out on facebook. Thats how my ex found out. If you wanna tell him though just come right out and say it.
