How can i stop getting notification emails on facebook?

i get an email everytime one of my friends does something. who knows how i can stop getting these notifications?

Once logged on to Facebook, you will notice at the top of the page the search bar, your name and Settings. Click on Settings, then click on the Notifications tab. Now you should see your option to activate or deactivate about 25 or so different notifications. I hope this helps you out.

next to your name at the top right....
go settings -> my account -> Notifications Tab -> click watever you dont want.
