How to stop emails of facebook activities and notifications to my gmail account?

I get loads of emails of every single activity of me on facebook on my gmail account !! How to stop that ?

Not sure if the link works, but try it:
http://www.facebook[dot]com/settings?tab=notifications - replace dot with a .
[Homepage -> settings -> Notifications]

There you can chose yourself what you want to get notifications about, just turn it all off if you don't want any mails at all
