Is there a way for me to stop Mafia Wars on Facebook from sending notifications to my friends all the time?

Something that I can do other than tell each of my friends to uncheck the Mafia Wars application box in their notifications. The notifications are coming from me so I should be able to turn them off rather than try to force them to do so.

everyday you finish playing mafia wars or any app on facebook, it will show up on your wall. go to your wall and under recent activity when the mouse is on the notification press remove on the side of the note.
