How long does it take for a guy to make a relationship monogamous?
If a guy really likes you and you've been seeing each other for a month. No sex, but a lot of foreplay. We just see each other once a week. And I can tell he cares about me and I care about him. He does little things that make me feel protected and always wants to help me fix something broken in my apartment. But in his Facebook relationship status he still have the single status and we haven't talked about exclusivity. What does it take? Or how long does it take to make a guy ask you to be his girlfriend?

Most guys I know don't really like asking girls to be their girlfriend. Comes off as needy I guess.

Just bring it up one day and see how he feels about it.

Personally, If we have a great girl, we don't like to make it public. We believe that living a life of love is alot better than making things public. However if some people knew, then its fine. As long as we didnt make an announcement.

I think its this protective act, that keeps our girls away from our friends because they aren't that great or, they might do something to mess up the relationship. So dont force the guy. He will do you anything and everything, but wont just randomly announce it in public unless his getting married.

Ask him if this is a relationship and if you are exclusive. Next time, put things on the back burner until you are exclusive. This will eliminate any mis communication.

Hi Olivia - not sure the facebook status really means a lot, I never change mine! Talk to him about how you feel and see where it goes. Good luck!
