Why does my girlfriend think Facebook is for cheaters?

Just recently, I made a Facebook and now my girlfriend is all mad because she says it's nothing but for liars and cheaters. I have been known to cheat on different girls. But I have never cheated on my current girlfriend, I love her way to much. I want a Facebook to catch up with my old buddies. But I can't do that if she thinks that Facebook is for cheaters. Can someone help me as soon as possible please.

It sounds pretty controlling if she won't let you have a facebook. Tell her that you're entitled to your own private life and you just want to catch up with friends. If she refuses to trust you, that's a huge red flag right there.

if you cared about her at all and didn't want to hurt her you would get rid of it.....how would you like it if she did your friends in front of you? karma sucks...i would watch what you do cause the more you hurt her, the more likely she is to end up hurting you in the future smart ass

facebook is a way to see how you are doing by your status updates and stuff, and uploading attractive pictures. if you make a status about your gf and you in a small argument , other girls may comment on it and flirt with you. or, on your pictures comment "sexy!" and stuff, and girls get jealous fast. Also, you have private messaging which you can message anyone, about anything and your girlfriend might be scared if a pretty girl messages you wanting to hang out and you say yes.

She is most likely afraid that you will meet other women on FB, and that you will want to get to know other women!!!!! IT CAN HAPPEN!!!!! :O
