Is it weird to ask a girl out on facebook?

I only see her once a day and this is during gym. Im a sophomore and she is a freshman, so were not even in the same gym class, she just has a different teacher. This is the only time i see her, im to nervous to ask her there with all her friends and people around. This would be my first girlfriend. I have not talked to her alot. Would it be weird to do this?

Yes! If you cant even relate in public, then how will you ever get intimate? you need to get closer first. and PLEASE do it in person, even if its after school. Facebook shows girls you have no balls.
