What would you do in this kind of situation?

I dated a guy about 8 years ago for about a year. I just recently found him on facebook. I have been wanting to add him as a friend or at least send the request but don't know if I should. He got married right after we broke up and my sister got in a fight with his wife about a year ago that was about me and him and how I am still an issue in their relationship. So my question is, would you try and add him on facebook?

well if he has a wife I wouldn't do that
then again if you just want to stay friends try it but be warned you might have issues with he's wife
