How can you tell if some ones hiding a facebook relationship?

I been talking to this person in another country. I asked if he had a girlfriend, he said no. Heres the thing every time i go to hes facebook there's this girl on hes friends lists. No matter how many times I refresh his page. She always seems to be at the top of the list. Or somewhere in that line of friends that displays. Could he be dating her? And hiding it from just me? Because I know you can do that

Facebook is not a relationship. And it's especially crazy to be jealous of another Facebook friend, who might only be appearing on his friends list because she keeps her Facebook page open all the time.
