How do I explain to my mother what tagging is?

On facebook, she keeps tagging me in my own photos, even though I am already tagged. She tags herself in everyone's photos and frankly, its getting a bit embarrassing. My status was "what are the odds" so she tagged me in a photo of myself and when I asked her she said she meant "I'll drink to the odds" because the photo album is called "I'll drink to that". Makes no sense right!!!! Please help me, I don't want to sound rude

You can always remove the tags of yourself...
Just tell your mom, "Tagging me in my OWN photos is not necessary. I don't want this to show up twice on my profile."

She'll understand.

Show her what happens when she does that. If she sees that it causes things to post twice....she'll stop. But jeesh man...be glad your mom wants to be around! There will come a day that she won't be. Don't pick her apart....it just shows she loves you, wants the world to know she is proud of you....and that she enjoys being a part of your life.
