contreversial question to most: am I the only one who hates myspace and facebook?
everyone seems to have those social networking sites. I think these sites have lack of privacy and lead to more trouble. ..fights, break-ups, mid-understanding, jealousy. I know..that's life.

This is just my personal opinion and I feel as though I am the only one who dislikes these sites.

(Do not bash me, do not defend these sites, do not report me. I don't care.) just looking for opinions.

I'm not so crazy about it either, but sometimes curiosity is stronger...

myspace, facebook and twitter our there so that you can talk to your friends easier and see what they our doing most recently myspace has been imitating facebook and twitter trying to keep themselves from losing there members but it doesn't seem to be working i personally love facebook cause you don't have to deal with all the crap you do have to deal with on myspace and twitter to me just seems a little dumb cause you cant really do anything at all.

yes facebook is the cause of the biggest fight i ever had and also its where peoples fights come into and it makes them bigger also posting pics and status updates causes people to be jealous of you and leads to more fights and people become obsessed with the amount of comments and wall posts they get and they become so hypnotized in the social networking page they think about it all the time in their normal life
Example 1 : omg this view is spectacular i wanan take a pic and put it on facebook
example 2: haha im hanging out with lana now let me go put it as a status update on facebook to show everyone how social and popular i am
though twitter is the best fo rme because only 3 girls in my whole school!! use it and they really are my true friends so i dont care what i put in there no one in my shcool even knows what twitter really is lol

I don't hate it, but I think it's a nuisance. I don't see the appeal of putting your personal life out for everyone to see. I don't have the urge to inform everyone what I'm doing all the time. I only created usernames on them so I could see my daughter's pages (she is grown, so no I am not monitoring her.) I rarely sign on, and put absolutely no personal information on it. I see others on there commenting on every little thing they do, like my niece saying "I just got through feeding the kids". Sorry, but who the eff cares???? The main reason I avoid it is my ex-husband. He is abusive evil man who hunted down and found my daughter's myspace page when she did not wish to be found by him. She had to delete that user and create another without her name on it. I have spent the last 10 years doing what I had to do to avoid ever seeing him again, I'm not going to make it easy for him to find me.

On the other side, one of my friends has gotten back in contact with dozens of high school friends who found him there. But I didn't have any close friends from school, anyone I want to find me already knows where I am. Smile

No, you're not the only one....i hate facebook!! i hate the vain part of it, the obnoxious self display, ... ugh...
but i still use it though lol, mainly cause i can see what my some of my close friends are up to and i can go and annoy them by writing on their walls lol, but yes, it sometimes leads to misunderstandings and jealousy on some degree, that's why i like to keep my interactions on facebook very casual, i don't take it very seriously Wink
