how do i stop farmville things from showing up under my notifications button on facebook?

i removed the app from apps and blocked it. my feed is clean but i keep getting stupid farmville things added to my notifications button (little globe icon) i get about a dozen a day from farmville neighbors who i've removed from facebook as friends. i went to the notifications page and farmville isnt even listed. it only shows horsebook and riding acadamy which are the only 2 apps i have installed.

Look at the top right of those notifications and you should see a x. Click on the x and it should give you an option to delete the post and also block the app again--sometimes the first time doesn't get rid of it. If you continue to get those, email facebook at info@facebook.com and tell them your problem. Good luck!
