How should I start an e-mail to an old girlfriend (25 years ago) on Facebook?
I found an old girlfriend via facebook...and would just like to re-connect with her. I just dont know how or what to say to initiate the first contact.... I thought of something like "Hi xxxx
Hope all is well with you and your family. Wishing you a happy and healthy new year. God Bless. yyyy

I would say something like hey how are you i didnt know you had a facebook. This makes it seem like you just ran across her page instead of actually looking her up. Then you can ask to hang out and catch up since its been so long.

Are you already friends with her? If no, ask her to be your friend and soon after she accepts then just send a message saying hello, asking how she is doing and what she has been up to and say a little about yourself. Don't send anything too long, especially at first. Good luck!
