maybe what kissie said or facebook, my mom lived in australia and she have found one guy she was friend to when she was like 21 back in 1989 and thanks to facebook he did find my mother, i don't really know how he did it but its really amazing if you ask me... i am chilean and everyone here has a facebook like everyone who has a social life and its younger than 58 ,i don't know if is the same there hope so
