help me! my facebook is being crazy?

I get news sometimes from people in my notifications(like oh this person added a new pic..with a star). I already checked to see if I had accidentally put them as my friends or family and they weren't checked. I don't know what it could mean,

pls help i dont want to have done something that makes me look like a creepy stalker.

Go to Yahoo main page. Click on your name next to Mail at the top right of the page. It should take you to your profile page or make a profile page if you have to. Then find a button for SETTINGS. Click that button. You will come to a page with lots of settings you should change. Click on tabs like Activity Sharing and Privacy. The default settings are usually wide open. Turn them all off one by one. I learned the hard way after every question I asked on Y Answers was e-mailed to my mother and daughter. Of course, I had asked a couple of raunchy questions so my family starts sending me e-mails about why this was happening. That's when I learned about this thing called Yahoo Profile and Privacy Settings! Good luck.

Usually if you get notifications about people's updates it means they were added to your "Close Friends" list. But if you go to that list, there is an option to turn the notifications off. Just click the thing at the top that says "Notifications" and click the "Off" option.
