My boyfriend and I got into a fight last week?

Okay I'm going to be a freshman and my boyfriend is going to be a junior. Well last week he was hanging out at my house and we were just chilling on the couch watching a movie. Well I got up to go get something and my phone vibrated, so as a natural reaction my bf looked through my texts. I had nothing to hide, I just don't like people going through my things. Well I was texting a guy that my bf hated and the message he sent was "you're so cute, when you break up with your scumbag boyfriend let me know", he read through all of our conversations and I didn't say anything wrong, or misleading, but when he saw it he completely flipped out on me. So basically our fight/argument

He grabbed me and he hit me. Not hard enough that it left s bruise but he shouldn't have ever Put his hands on me. I've been avoiding him since and he's been blowing up my phone, facebook, twitter, tumble, myspace, email, my actual mailbox, with apologies and everything. I don't know what to do. Part of me wants to give him another chance because everyone slips up, but then the other part of me wants him to realize what he had and he forever lost it. I'm so confused. Help

It seems to me your better off without him. No guy should EVER and i mean EVER put his hands on a female POINT BLANK and he should not have disrespected you like that. If you go back to him you must realize that there's a chance this would happen again. Good luck & follow your heart=)

only cowards hit women plain and simple. If you take him back you are letting him know that his "Slip up" was ok and that you will just forgive him if he does it again. You have to be stronger than that, be better than that don't take him back find someone who cares adn isn't going to disrespect you or abuse you. Be strong and say Hell No!!! hope this helps good luck
