How do I stop windows tabs from opening nonstop in internet explorer!?

When I'm using facebook and close the browser winder sometimes I get multiple tabs opening. I have to use ctrl>alt>del to end the explorer session to make it stop. What's going on and how can I stop this from happening?

hello best way is to use good active viruscanner, workaround is setting security tight

I would recommend resetting IE7 to it's default state. Lots of times its related to the page your visiting but common problems are also corrupt toolbars and plugins. Resetting IE will fix that. The site below has steps on how to do it. Good luck!
