If you tag someone in a photo and then untag them shortly after, will they still get a notification?

I tagged a public figure in a facebook photo and then untagged them shortly after. Will that person get a notification that they were tagged even if they are no longer tagged in the photo? Thanks!

And can I get in trouble for tagging a public figure if I untagged them shortly after I put the picture up?

Once you untag them, the notification that they were tagged will be gone.

yes they do get a notification as soon as u tag them
as for gettin in trouble for taggin a public figure, i hav no idea, sorry x

No they won't know unless you tagged them and they were online and then like 5 hours later you decide to take the tag off then of course they'll know!
