How can i hide my facebook from people?

I don't want my sister to find out that I have a facebook. Is there a way to make it so that she won't get a you might know notice?

go to account privacy and check the ones you want

There is only one way just change your Profile name that your sister don't know because when they don't know that they won't search your new name there. And when they don't search your profile will be safe from your sisters.

Ok, you don't have to change your name or anything stupid like that because then people you know won't add you cuz they won't know its you... but what you can do is block people, and blocking them means they can't add you as a friend or even find you on facebook at all because you blocked them. to block people you go to safety settings which is on your profile page on the top, just look there, you'll find it
