It sounds like you have bought an internet add on, not a BBM add on. They are two different things. An internet add on allows you to use ordinary internet, such as browsing websites, going on Facebook, checking emails, etc. You need to buy a BBM add on, as well as the internet add on, if you want to use both the internet and BBM, Blackberry Mail, Blackberry App World, etc. This will cost an extra £5 per month, but allows unlimited access to all Blackberry services for a month. This is a recurring cost, so if you want to keep on using the Blackberry services, you will have to renew the add on each month to keep the services active.

I think that you only need to update the service books on your Blackberry.

When you unlock a Blackberry from O2 it still has the older service books even if you switch to T-mobile by replacing your SIM card.

Plus, you need a special "Blackberry data plan" with BIS account added. You can contact T-mobile to find out if you have it. but if the apps are working i think you do.

So, to update your service books go to the "Options" on your Blackberry and then to "Advanced options" or to "Device" and select the "Holst routing table" option.
Then. click the "Blackberry" icon (menu button) and select "Register now".

It should update the latest service books needed for your data plan to be activated.
