Facebook page notifications?

How can I receive notifications of new announcements or news from a FB page? For instance if you "Like" a page, for example a singer artist, how can you receive notification of new announcements, etc that the singer posts and such? Can you set it up to receive email notifications? Or would it be better to use the FB app on my device?

If you like FB page the automatically you will be subscribed for that page updates. If you want notification in your email account just go to account settings then in notification. here you can set which kind of notification you want in your email id.
