How do I unrequest a friend on Facebook?
I requested somebody as a friend but I changed my mind, my wife doesnt want my ex-girlfriends to be my friends. How can I cancel the request?
PS If I send her a message telling her I dont want her as a friend she will insist because I have already requested. Is there another way?

Wait until she accepts then delete her as a friend. Simple.

To unrequest a friend, you need to block her. Go to your privacy page:
http://www.facebook.com/home.php?ref=home#/privacy/

In the lower right hand corner you'll see a box where you can type the name of the person you want to block. Type that person's name and hit the blue Block button. You'll then be sent to another screen that will show you people with that name. Most likely her name will be the first one in the list. Hit the "Block person" link that's to the right of their box. Now your friend request will be removed from her home page once she logs in. However, the email she may have received from you when you first requested her will already have been sent out. She might get confused though that she thought you requested her but then there's nothing there. Oh well!

That happened to me before, but not with an ex. Just block her and then unblock her. It worked for me.

Send her a message letting her know about your wife and I'm sure she'll understand. Or just be a man and stand up to your wife. Your ex won't try to flirt with you and if she does, you wife should trust you not to be so stupid and flirt back.
