How to convice your boyfriend your truely sorry through a text?

Okay so I went of on my boyfriend for ignoring me what not but then when he texted me he said he lost his phone which is believable. But he found it after I already cussed him out and put him on blast on Facebook...I feel really bad and if I could say sorry in person I would but I moved away recently so we don't see each other much...so how can I sincerely say I'm sorry over a text? Please help. I feel really bad.

I say call him or else, you look dumb,
calling him is the way to go.
Just explain everything .
If he's a good boyfriend he would understand.
