What is the correct family term for this person?
What do I call my step-sister-in-law's sister in relation to me? I talk with her regularly on facebook and what not but I'm not sure what I should refer to her as. In law? Extended family? Or is there no proper term?

just refer to her as your sister in law especially if you feel she's family. If not just friend then.
