How do you set your Facebook account so that people don't get notifications about your birthday?

I already have my account set so that it doesn't show my birthday to anybody on my profile. But does that also stop it from putting those little birthday notifications at the top of everybody's screen? If not, what do I have to do?

It should prevent it from doing that, but if it doesn't then just put a false birthday in=)

Account > Privacy Settings > Birthday > Choose "Customize" > Select "Only Me".

Now nobody can see your birthday and they won't get a notification. Also, you can hide it from specific people or specific groups of people. Or, if you wish, you can make it so only certain people or groups of people see it (Family, for instance).
