Facebook wont send me notifications if i get tagged in a picture?

Facebook wont send me any sort of notification if i am either tagged or if someone has commented on my photo. I have the box checked so it should send me it. No one else i know has this problem..How do i get it to work?

I'd check if your email address is correct first and if your mobile phone is setup correctly (if text message alert). For email, check your junk mail folder.
