Can you make your profile private on facebook except for one particular person?

Okay, so like i just broke up with my girlfriend and she suggested i should delete her on facebook. I still want her to see my updates but at the same time I also still want to remain private on facebook. So isit possible that she can see my updates without being my friend while having a private account?

Nope it isn't possibly if she isn't your friend. You could always make your profile more private to her, just go to privacy settings, click on profile and choose what she can and can't see.
