It wouldn't be rude to delete her, no, but do you have a reason to? I mean, if there's no problems between the two of you, I don't see why it would be a problem to keep her as a friend.

Yeah, it would be rude. She probably likes you, even though you and the boyfriend called it quits. It's a compliment. Maybe she's just saying "no hard feelings" and that she approved of you.

Oh jesus, never add a parent of anyone you are in a relationship with, or were in a relationship with. It's a disaster. I don't even accept my own mother's invitation.
