Are there any good, reasonably priced beauty/face products that can reverse sun damage to skin?
I'm 25 and for many years I used tanning beds and was out in the sun quite a bit. I've learned my lesson now. I don't have bad skin by any means, I just have a few sun spots and uneven skin tone (not that bad where people notice, but I notice). What are some decent priced beauty products that can reverse this while I'm still young? And are there any at home remedies that could help? Thanks!

What is reasonably priced for you?
For me its most things under 100$ although i would be willing to splurge on certain things that have unbelievable reviews and science to back it up.

Ok well for starters...
1. Exfoliation. Anything will do. Exfoliation gets rid of the dead skin cells, and allows new ones to grow in. Over time you should notice a more uniform complexion.
2. Vitamin C - mainly look for the ingredient L-ascorbic Acid. Because that is the most stable form of vitamin C, Vitamin C inhibits pigmentation, and is considered a natural skin brightener.
It also has antiaging benefits. It promotes elastin and the synthesis of collagen, so it firms skin up.
Lastly its an antioxidant, so it helps stave off free radicals (oxygen reactive species) - free radicals ruin your skin cells homeostasis - its natural way of life.

3. SUNBLOCK - this is by far the most important. Because theres no point in treating the hyperpigmentation - uneven skin tone - if you do not protect your skin.
If you dont protect, you probably will never see any benefits.

Those are essentially the basics of getting rid of sun damage.
Product recommendations - thats kinda tough since you did not include a price range.
Here is my ideal skin care regimen and for the things i dont have ill put in parenthesis what im using at the moment.
Morning -
1. wash/exfoliate - I exfoliate using Dr Dennis Gross alpha beta peel pads. They are a daily peel, and after a month its equal to one professional peel. It was formulated so his clients did not need to come in to his clinic. It has helped make my skin tone more uniform
2. Serum - Ideally i would like to use Phloretin CF by skinceuticals. Skinceuticals is one of the only companies that includes their scientific report with their products. And they use more innovative ingredients with their products.
Phloretin being one of them. Most only use vitamin C, but they throw in other potent antioxidants. (at the moment i am just using kate somervilles SPF 55 serum. Its got a little bit of vitamin C and E in it.)
3. Moisturizer - this does not really matter for you, but i use kate somervilles oil free moisturizer since its got some antiaging benefits but is still oil free -i am really breakout prone.
4. Sunscreen - I use Kate Somervilles SPF 55 Serum. But when i get my Phloretin CF, i also want to get Skinceuticals Sheer SPF 55 sunblock, or their Physical Fusion, the physical fusion has a tint to even out skin tone. The sheer one makes a matte finish

Night - Pretty similar
1. Wash
2. Retinol - Retinol is the best thing for all skin. It helps fight acne, fight fine lines, fight sun damage, etc. I use High Potency Evening Repair by Perricone MD. But something cheap like RoC from the drug store will do fine.
The Perricone one also has Vitamin C Ester in a high abundance, so its also got some antioxidant and brightening benefits.
3. Moisturizer - i use the same one at night (sometimes ill use a hydrating serum. I got a bunch of Hydrakate Line Release Serums with my Kate Somerville stuff. Thats also why i use the SPF 55 serum. Literally got like 25 samples from 2 shipments.)

Sometimes i use a mask by Dermalogica. Sebum clearing masque. I got 2 travel size tubes (.75 x2 = 1.5 oz) for 5$ off ebay.
It really calms down my skin, and helps stave off acne. Idk what your skin problems are though.

But Ebay also has good deals on the Phloretin. They sell a sample pack, of 6, that is a couple milileters short of being equal to the full size thing.
(heres a little secret too, all my things by kate somerville, perricone, and dr dennis gross were all won... absolutely 100% free. I just follow them on twitter and facebook, and they have a lot of contests. Especially perricone.
One of the things i also one from kate that would help you is her Complexion Correction Daily Discoloration Perfecter. I havent used it much, i was gonna wait til the winter time.

Kojic acid seems to be a good natural quicker way of lightening sun spots, but it can be pricey. If you want a natural way of lightening the spots, try apple cidar vinegar or lemon and rub it in the area. It will take time to fade, but it does work.
