What are some factual pros of Facebook?

I really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, REALLY want a Facebook, but my mom is still "researching" it. She keeps delaying telling us yes or no, etc. But I really want one, and she needs some positive info about Facebook. She has a Facebook, so I don't see why this is even happening. Grrr! PLEASE HELP ME!

It's fun, safer than myspace, and has many safety options.

-you can easily set your privacy settings and its much safer than myspace.
-its easier to get homework from friends instead of wasting time by calling them.
-since basically everyone has a facebook, its a great way to keep in touch with out-of-the-area family.

Hey! Anyway yeah I had a myspace for a week and it sucked. You get good grades and are responsible. Tell your mom you will be her friend and she can approve all the pictures and videos you put online. (She will probably have the password anyway, right?) Also you don't have to put where you live if you don't want to and can change ur network to anywhere... It's easier if you let her tell you what she is worried about and then COUNTER ATTACK -lol- She'll crack, remember aim? Oh I have one if that helps and my mom goes on it all the time and my brother too...
