What does @ on twitter mean?

the @ on twitter means you are directing that message or including someone else on twitter. so like say your update is "taking a shower @loganD then you would let them know you were taking a shower or with them if that makes sense. i know thats dirty haha

yah, this means the person you are talking to. For example, if you say something and a few people make comments, you can answer them all individually by putting the @ and their name.

so basically, who the message is intended for.
