How do you close your account on Myspace?

I have tried twice to close my account because I don't use it anymore and prefer Facebook, but each time I go to log on to it, it is still there, how do I get rid of it completely?

Please don't say click on close account because that is what I did and then it asked for a reason and said that I would get a verification email sayin that it had been successfully deleted, but I haven't recieved one after both attempts, do I just need to wait?

Account settings, there should be an option.

You have to wait a lil' bit, and don't go logging into your account cause that will interrupt the deactivation.

erm same thing happened to me.. i would jus upload a blank piture and then delete all the 1z of you.. cos at least 1 pic has to stay..and if u dont want the account then im sure u dont want your pic to be der.

jus upload da pic and then dont use.. delete da page.and your friends..and dont go on it.. das the onli thing u can do..

cos wen we cancel our acout..the email is not sent to our email ad..is it?
