Is it really that easy to hack into someone else's Facebook account?

i had a coworker tell me that her sister easily hacked into someone's facebook account. what's more is that this same coworker told me that she recognized me from facebook even though we never met until recently. that kind of worries me privacy-wise.

Keep in mind that you can't hack someone's account because Facebook admin is not dumb enough to know who uses certain account. I'm sure that Facebook admin goes through each account and determine where each person goes on Facebook.
