Obsessive friend, restricted him on facebook, but he still gets notifications when I post things?

He gets notifications that I've posted something new but he can't see what I've posted. He gets very mad that he gets notifications but can't see anything. How can I get it to stop sending him notifications?

visit his profile and click on 'block this person.' he will be totally blocked. This should solve your problem.

I gather you want to keep the person... Put them in the new acquaintance list option. Then manage the list, and select the things you wish them to see. Choose the update types so that it minimizes this in the feed. Then pay close attention to how you post. Be sure to use the toggle in the status area to target the groups you wish to see the post.
