im trying to understand it.when you use twitter what does it mean when you write # in front of something? like some people write # instead of @

@ is to send a public message to somone. Like "@oprah i loved your last show"
# is a trending topic. Lets say you saw the new movie that came out. "just went to see #vapirerssuck with @brit343 ! (remember not to add spaces)
