If she has a facebook account herself, her argumenet is invalid and hypocritical and you should definetely get facebook. Since your sister got under the age limit, you should technically have it. explain how it's unfair how your sister has facebook. She probably doesn't want you to have facebook because she has fear about peodphiles and online hacking and other things so let her know you are mature enough and not dumb enough to talk to strangers. Let her know that your privacy settings will be high and that you'll only add and accept people you know. Assure her that it's friendly and it's a form of communication between your friends -explain to her it's like texting except through the computer.
