Does Facebook tell people if their Facebook friendship was ignored?

People (Weird Relatives) keep sending me Friend Requests on Facebook. I always just leave them there (Not pushing Accept or Ignore) because I don't know if they will see that I Ignored them. Some people have said they see it, and others say they don't. PLEASE help. I'm tired of the friend requests building up.

no it wont show but when they add you again as a friend it will not say pending but they will be able to add you again.

You aren't prompted if someone has ignored your friend request.
Although, the person will then be able to try and add you as a friend again.

It doesn't, but if you check on the status of the friend request, it just says not approved yet.

If you leave the request there without doing anything it will just keep showing as friend request pending. If you hit Ignore, they won't be notified but it won't say friend request pending anymore, and they can request you again.
