How to get notifications from facebook to mobile phone?

I activated Facebook for mobile but i need to set it so when someone posts in the group we are in (my class group) i get a message???!!?!?!

Your phone number needs to be registered, and when that has been done, from settings, select country, network and number then go to phone and respond from it and that links your mobile to your Facebook account.

You can reply to messages sent direct to you, post status-message updates from phone, and depending on what you select, get your phone to keep you all up to date before getting back on your pc. one think you can't do on all mobiles is fb games.
