Is it weird to try to meet girls on Facebook?

I'm 17 and i'm trying to meet a girl who i would enjoy being around and stuff like that(girlfriend)t. But I have a preference for white girls and i go to a black school(no white girls) and I don't drive. So there's no way for me to really meet a girl besides facebook until i can drive and go out to places and explore. So my question am i being weird by doing this and if so what alternative would you suggest to me?? Serious answers please lol =).

well im white i would find it creepy to be online and looking for girls on facebook. I would say just look for them or befriend them but you already know them. Cuz thats the best way to do things. Than a total stranger. you can get to know them better through facebook. I'm sixteen and I don't drive and I love black guys and Armerian guys !!!
