How do i give feedback on an answer when some body answers my question? ( im new to this!)?

YA is NOT a chat forum. That's why there are NO "Reply / Respond" buttons anywhere on YA. YA is a knowledge exchange form with a strict question - answer format, not a question - answer - respond/reply format.

You can leave a short comment, like a thank you or that you the answer was helpful, and you can rate how helpful the answer is when you pick a best answer, but you have to wait at least an hour or until there are two or more answers to your question before the "Choose as best answer" buttons will appear beside each answer. You have four days to pick a best answer. 96 hours after you posted your question, it automatically goes into voting for best answer. The third link explains what that is and how it works.

You can reply by email, IM, and Yahoo messenger but you have to enable your email to and from other YA community members first. No, you do NOT need a magic number of points All you need is your Yahoo email account, which you have already set up

To enable your email to and from other YA community members:

1 Click your avatar to open up your YA profile/activity
2 Click the “Edit my preferences” hyperlink”
3 Click the Privacy & communications” tab when it is underlined top open up the tab page
4 Click the center of the button to the left of “Via email” until it turns green / gray
5 Click the “Submit” button at the bottom of the tab page

To email another YA community member:
1 Click their avatar
2 Clicking the “Email” [user name] will open up an email page
3 Click the “Submit button at the of email page to send the email

You don't directly. YA is not a chat room or Facebook. You have two options if you switch to the desktop mode on your phone.:

1. E-mail or IM the user through their profile.

2. Wait until you pick the BA and add comments for each user. Probably only the Best Answer will see it since they only get a notification.

The ONLY exception is that you can add additional details (pencil icon on question toolbar) to your question for clarification of the question. Do not call users by name doing this or it will be deemed chat.
